"STEAM" Project!
Kindergarten
Magnet Painting
Kindergarteners will learn about magnets and how they can create art! Using a box top, small metal pieces such as washers and springs, and magnetic wands, artists will create masterpieces by moving the wand around under the box top. The metal pieces will move around in the paint creating a one-of-a-kind piece of art!

Fourth graders will be making a sushi collage using paper printed with Gelli Plates! Gelli Plates can use a variety of techniques to create texture and patterns in prints. No two will look the same and these will look great on display for their China festival! Check out this video about Gelli Plates here!

GIANT Pizza Pillows
Famous Artist: Claus Oldenburg
Everybody LOVES pizza! So why not make our own!? Fifth graders will create GIANT pizza pillows and learn to sew and stitch! Our recipe includes lots of felt, tacky glue, thin crochet thread, puffy paint, cotton batting, and loves of love! Delicious! Watch a video on the pizza pillows here!
